2025 Blog Income Report – How to Make Money your Second Month Blogging
This post is about 2025 blog income report.
Time is flying. I cannot believe I am writing about my second income report already. I for sure fall under the category of “blogging for beginners” because boy oh boy do I have a lot to learn still in my blog journey.
This month was full of learning, taking notes, and fueling the blogging brain with LOTS of information. Unfortunately, I did not hit my $$ goals (we were very close), but I have spent the last month investing in the business which is just as important as making money.
This post is about 2025 blog income report.
Why did I Start my Blog?
Freedom for life. I work a 9-5 job that I don’t hate, but I am not truly satisfied. I wanted a side hustle in my life that fueled my creativity, passion, and overall happiness. One thing about me is that I THRIVE off a busy schedule, so adding in a side hustle just made sense.
I came across a couple different accounts over the years that were making THOUSANDS of dollars a month from home, from their computer, and from their small blog. So this year, I did the same. Small business ideas come to life when you hit the publish button.
Essentially, I started my blog for 3 main reasons:
- Build a business that will fulfill me.
- Build a business that will allow me to be flexible to run my own business when and where I want.
- Build a business that allows me to be fully present with my husband and future children.
Why am I writing about my Small 2025 Blog Income Report?
I am writing a blogger income report because I want others to see that it is possible to start a side hustle and actually make money. I know I am not posting about making thousands of dollars a month, but this $50 is getting me a manicure, coffee, and a chipotle burrito! (Well maybe not all of it at the same time, but it helps!)
You can work 40 hours a week and still have time to start a blog that will make you money. I am not a professional by any means and I still have lots to learn, but I am doing it and so can you!
Now, let’s get to the real numbers this month!

February 2025 Total Income: $45.10

- Perfecting Blogging Course: $257
- Perfecting Pinterest Course: $170
FEBRUARY BLOGGING STATS:
February Website Traffic: 4,126 Page Views
Did I hit my February Blog Income Goals?
Short answer – No, I did not hit my blog income report goals. However, I did hit my content goals and invested in my business to advance my blog strategies.
My February Blog Goals:
- $50 in Amazon Affiliate (this would be double from last month)
- 7000 page views (it is a shorter month so this might be less)
- 8 blog posts – 2 per week following my posting schedule
- Update at least 4 old posts and make new pins for Pinterest
- Strengthen Pinterest Strategy – stay consistent and update style
I am very tough on myself and I do not just let myself win to win. Obviously I was less than $2 from my affiliate goal, but I still did not hit it. I was WAY off on my page view goal, but obviously that was a learning experience that I have a ways to go.
BUT I almost DOUBLED my income from January! Almost $50 and I am just starting out!!! This is proof in the pudding (or whatever the saying is). Being consistent and bettering my blogging skills are (slowly) starting to pay off!
This is exactly why I am writing my blog month income report. This is proof that it takes time, patience, and a lot of work to start a blog and make it worth your time (I am still learning this). The money will come, focus on business and it will start to grow.
What did I do to Grow my Blog this Month?
Invested in the business. I forked over A LOT of money for 2 blogging courses. Not only money, but I gave up time to learn strategies that I will now implement on my blog (and I mean hours of time!).
Stayed consistent. Despite there being last minute trips to see family and my crazy work/life schedule, I posted 2 times per week.
What are my Goals for my March Income Statement?
I have lots of goals for March now that I have invested in a blogging and pinterest course to help me improve my strategies for my business. That couple hundred dollars was not easy for me to spend! Throughout the course, I learned SO much on different, small tweaks to improve my strategy (because it is all strategy!).
I want to make money on my blog, but I can’t do that without page views. I set my goal at a much more realistic number (since I am new, I am really guessing here) this month hoping that I will hit it or exceed it.
The goal is go all in on the new strategy and see what it can do!
March 2025 Blogger Income Report Goals:
- $50 in Amazon Affiliates.
- 5,000 Page Views
- Post 2 blog posts per week.
- Content Plan using new strategy from Blog course.
- Publish on Pinterest using new strategy from Pinterest course.
- Update old blog posts to reflect new strategy.
- Publish old blog posts on Pinterest with new strategy.
